Follow the sun
^ From Follow the sun, an exhibition of Australian Travel Posters at the National Library of Australia (via things magazine).
I'm off to Australia for 'The Society Wedding of the Millennium (TM)' - aka Charles and Amanda's wedding - and two weeks of sun. Oh, and Matt is finally meeting the family...

Don't know what the correct bloggers' etiquette is, but I pinched your links for Charles and Amanda and used them to further elucidate my own entry dealing with their wedding.
I'm not telling you because I feel guilty so much, but because I know you'll see it anyway, and besides, maybe other people who read your comments might want to take a look for themselves.

I assume your sigh relating to my recollection of seeing “the best minds of my generation on Manning Bar balcony in skimpy tops” is not of the same order of resignation as mine; mine was the susurration of wistful nostalgia. (While yours, I hazard a guess, was clearly marvelling at the many levels of satire – the best clearly being that Level 3 balcony outside Manning Bar.)
